What do you think so far of the cruise director? Assuming he'll be the same in 3 weeks?

Mark as CD is okay, nothing special but he seemed popular with some & repeat cruisers.

Different personalities than say, Dan Dan on the BA. Not clear on whether he's going to around in 3 weeks, as they all rotate & take vacations.

I didn't know they had OV with two windows. Are they large windows or skinny ones. If you don't mind what cabin no. is your room, it looks nice.

Yes, Deck 8-570, midship portside. Obstructed w 2 small windows, 85% blocked view but natural lights come thru. Some sideway insides across from us, quiet and white space are crew stairs, crew elevators & hotel store (supplies). Nice job on refreshing @drysock, those 2 USB ports at the bedside very useful.

 

Mini cooler box emptied so we stored our water & goodies. 2 medium packing cubes fit perfectly in the drawer and on open shelves.

 

Notice the new, round stool. It has small hidden storage, flip the top over & use it as end table to hold cups & small snack plates.

 

Cabins further back in this area might hear some noises from atrium lobby in evening, but a quick walk to O'Shedhan's - never seem too busy.

Last night, Day 2 at Stardust Theater, no reservations needed. Swing is the main production show, 7 pm & 9 pm.

Dinner in Orchid Garden, desserts were pretty good and there was a crowd waiting at 6 pm.

 

Ship will sail in another 30 minutes, it's all abroad time so get ready to spot pier runners, many stayed on the ship. Wish us luck to tender at GSC tomorrow. When we dock at Nassau, will go live with cellular signal again. Post your questions, will answer then or post-cruise with rest of Dailies.

I upgraded to an oceanview cabin today based on your picture from the first day. I didn't know your cabin number earlier, but took a guess and snagged a cabin two doors down, so I am guessing it will have the same two window configuration.

 

I was interested in the internet info, and your pictures have answered all my questions!

The food pictures and menus ARE making me drool!

Most obstructed OV had 1 large window, ours being - 3rd lifeboat from front, portside - the few w 2 small windows. Will get & post more pix to post later.

 

Guest services paging about 8 guests ... @ 8:57 pm, sill at the pier. Very windy here, not feeling positive about GSC but I rather be wrong.

 

Still docked & waiting at 9:20 pm.

Gangway has been pulled. We are still not moving yet. Ropes still not released.

Security on the pier only with the small ramp, oh no ... not a good sign. It's also pushed back at 10:00 pm and ship security stepped onboard. Looks like we are finally going to get underway. Luggages got unloaded just now.
