We are joining ship in Miami on July 16th, first ever cruise and really looking forward to it. We have a Classic drinks package but do we need to upgrade?

Know you said you aren't doing trips but which of them would you recommend from previous cruises.

It is our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we will do one speciality restaurant, which would you recommend?

Enjoy rest of cruise

thanks for the thread - does the Casino have Texas Hold-em (not the table game like Caribbean Poker) and if so is it the Electronic table or Live Dealers?

thanks in advance and have a great cruise!

Correction, electronic, no live dealer

Hi terry!

I hope you are enjoying your cruise! :) we'll be sailing on the equinox next May!

2 questions...

1. what time do the bars open?

2. We're staying on the same deck as you guys- what kind of outputs are on the back of the TVs? :) USB? HDMI?

Thanks in advance

We're in a balcony on the hump. Movies are a couple of months old, power rangers, the account, and yes pay per view movies are available

Were there some pretty current movies on the Pay per view channel? I wouldn't mind paying if we have a night we just want to stay in our cabin.

Thanks hope you are having good weather and enjoying your cruise.

The Solarium is air conditioned and the most comfortable place to be even if it is blistering hot outside on the outdoor pool deck. There are some windows that can be opened by the crew to bring in a little more fresh air.

Thanks!

For Cozumel I highly recommend Nachi Cocum. It's all inclusive on the beach with a pool. They only allow 100 people per day but you do need reservations. We go every time as its a nice place to spend the day. You can find them online.

Have you seen the glass show and if so when do they have it?

We were on this cruise and we caught all of the hot glass shows. They were daily on M-F, with the charity auction and Meet the Artists events held on Saturday. No shows on embarkation day.

One day there were 2 shows. During the early show, the kids' program brought the children in for the first half hour of the show. They had drawn pictures of what they'd like to see made out of glass. One lucky child got to see her drawing interpreted, and she got to take it home with her. It was very cute. There were at least 50 children attending that show, and they reserved the first 2 rows of seating for them.

Thank you for the reply. I had never heard about the children attending with drawings. That was one lucky kid.

What entertainment groups/ theatre shows are currently showing. We are on the Equinox in October. Enjoy your cruise, and thanks for the live review.

Great! Thank you! I'll be interested to see what you think of the MDR, as it gets mixed reviews. Also, anything about the kids club you notice - or at least do kids you see seem happy onboard. Any shore excursions? Your favorite place to curl up with a book or a drink? Have a wonderful cruise!!

We were on the same cruise as the OP and our daughters (ages 8 and 5) LOVED the kids club. In fact, my 5 year old cried on the last night because she wasn't going to be attending the last few late night activities (we wanted them to get to bed early). The activities for them throughout the week were great. They are open 9-12pm, closed for 2 hours for lunch, then reopen from 2-5. From 5-7, they can do dinner with the kids club or you can bring them back from 7-10pm. 10pm to 1am is considered "slumber party" and you will be charged $6 per hour unless you have the VIP package which makes it free. The kids are broken down by age (3-5, 6-8, 9-11 and then 12+ are the teens group). My girls loved the activities and they had a 4th of July party which included decorating t-shirts and making hats, a 4th of July parade and a talent show at the end of the cruise. Both got the backstage tour of the theater where they met the entertainers, dancers, band members and tried on costumes. My 8 year old was able to take the tour of the bridge and meet the Captain.

Thanks! Sounds like our kids will really like it. Did your girls have the VIP package?

e

Welcome to Celebrity!

Drink's are like food, depends on taste. We upgrade as the wifester likes the red wines on the Premium, and I the 35+ craft beer selection, oh, and both of us the chocolate martinis at the martini bar.

25th, Murano.

Hi, thanks for sharing your vacation time with us. Do you know what day & time the meet & mingle for the cruise critic members was scheduled?

There is normally a card on the bed when you first get in, with the M&M info.

On our last 3 cruises, it has been on the first Sea day at 10:00am.

We are sailing on the Equinox in a few weeks. We've never sailed Celebrity before and want to know what the "don't miss" experiences are. So far, we have a reservation at Murano and our excursions planned. What shipboard activities are you enjoying the most? Is there trivia or stand up comedy or dance parties? Thanks!

Don't miss the Corning Glass show, times will be listed in Celebrity Today, (the daily planner).

They also have a few silent disco nights, try it!
