Princess has muster drills ,but also have mandatory video repeating instructions via the stateroom TV. DOUBLE DOSE of safety.

Also, we just turn on the in stateroom advisements while we unpack. Then it’s out of the way. Head to whatever comes next[emoji898][emoji2]

I don't need to be entertained during a muster drill. We cruise mostly Hal and we stand on deck, rain or shine, squeezed in like Sardines. That's perfectly ok. Its serious business.

I just want people to shut up and listen and hopefully 50% will remember what they were told.

Air New Zealand was possibly the first airline to revamp their safety videos. Here are a couple of their Lord of the Rings / Hobbit ones.

Air New Zealand knows how to get our attention.

Years ago in my first ANZ flight, the flight attendants did their safety spiel

and we're mostly ignored, including by me. Then I heard the voice saying "just don't forget how our oxygen masks are totally different from anyone else's.

Thank you for paying attention.

We wouldn't want anyone suffocating."

Then most of us hit the call button.
