arsa Posted August 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2017 Sorry if it's posted elsewhere - i tried searching but failed to find anything. We are on the 11/26 Breakaway from NY. Will the ship be decorated for the holidays or will the week after thanksgiving be too early for decorations? CruisinMaterial Posted August 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Not sure if that's a 14 day cruise you're going on but I took the after Thanksgiving cruise and mid-way through it the decorations started popping up and by the end of it, the ship was fully decorated. This was in 2016 holiday season. :)

Chigirlcruzin Posted August 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2017 I sailed NCL twice the week after Thanksgiving - Epic in 2014 and Escape in 2016. In both cases, they were decorating the ship as we were disembarking the ship, so no decorations for our cruise. timf2001 Posted August 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 20, 2017 It was the same on Getaway last year. No decorations for the November 27 cruise, but they started appearing the morning we were disembarking.

I am never done with Christmas decorations till after New Years.
PelicanBill Posted August 23, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Me either! This will be great. We are on Breakaway December 15-22nd. Yay! You can have my deck chair when I get up to leave the ship!
arsa Posted August 23, 2017 Author #14 Share Posted August 23, 2017 We love holiday decorations! We were once on the Sky over Christmas and the whole ship was decked out, with Santa paying a visit on Christmas Day! My Christmas Decorations go up the day after thanksgiving and stay through Jan 2nd :-) It will definitely be a bonus.. but any day I am on a cruise ship is a bonus to me. I could practically live on a cruise ship.
