kt2e Posted August 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2017 Does anyone know when there is Lobster offered in the MDR? Is it on formal nights? Do you know in advance? When there is lobster in the MDR, can you also get it in the specialty restaurants? My husband loves lobster and we are trying to decide how much specialty dining we will do, Thanks in advance! kate:cool:

Also, your husband can whole Maine lobster every night for additional charge.
Ourusualbeach Posted August 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2017 I have had no problems in getting the lobster on the second formal night in both Chops and Giovannis. I stop by the restaurant during the day and give them my request.

androckb Posted August 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 27, 2017 On all of the Allure of the Seas reviews/reports from this year I've seen that mention it, lobster has been on the second formal night, which is typically Day 5 or 6 depending on the itinerary. cb at sea Posted August 27, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2017 That's correct...on weeklong cruises, the 2nd formal night is when they serve the "warm water lobster tails"...they are not "Maine" tails!!!
taglovestocruise Posted August 27, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 27, 2017 Not sure what night but lobster is also available in the Windjammer. I don't think it was formal night because I can't remember being dressed up. I do know my son was in there at 5:30 or so and had a plate of 6 or 8 half tails. He then went back a hour or so later and filled up again.
Rare JamesEM Posted August 28, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 28, 2017 I was on the Allure this past May, lobster night was the 2nd formal night, however the lobster tails were small warm water variety that were over cooked, also lobster was not available in the Windjammer on our cruise.
