Elite Booking Perk

Yesterday my excellent travel agent booked a 2019 connoisseur escorted Alaskan cruise tour. Today that specific tour is not listed on the Princess web site. I know the size of the group on a tour is limited but could that tour have booked up in just one day and when only Elites can make bookings?

We have a good TA that booked the Sky from inaugural to FLL. It was all or nothing because we gave her only 4 cabins to pick from and she got our third choice. From past experience these unique cabins normally go within 5 minutes of the opening window.

 

It appeared that calling was the only option when it opened for Elites, is that correct?

yes. I was finally able to book online very early this morning here in the central time zone. What I booked though was pretty routine and not in high demand.

Exactly. My T/A sent me quotes for the 21 day itinerary and a combined 14/7 day itinerary. On another mater, the cabin I have booked is classified as an S2 OS. The aft suites on Dolphin and above are classified as S3's. PH's. I thought all of the AFT suites on Royal class ships that were initially S2 OS's were being recatogorized as S3 PH's.....:confused::confused::confused:

Forgot all about 2019 bookings opening until I read it here!! Fortunately, I was able to book the Sky Princess and got the cabin I wanted.

Wondering why SKY was chosen as the name for the newest royal class ship?

Boy, I wish I had a great TA. I've tried several with no joy. A good one is worth their weight in gold - hang on to this one!
