Also a New Hampshire and an (old) Hampshire but is there an old Foundland;p

At least the namers of these places called them "New". The dummies who named London, Ontario have caused a boat load of confusion over the years! And yes both the one in Ontario and the one in the UK are located on the Themes.

I don't remember every detail but I have a pretty decent grasp on world geography. Thanks, Mr. Pearson!

That's good, because it keeps changing! New countries, new place names, etc. I'm thankful we have the internet to keep up with the changes and don't have to rely on printed books or manufactured globes. A few weeks ago I was trying to remember how Bollywood got its name -- I couldn't remember what Indian city was mashed with Hollywood, and I had to look it up because Bombay had been long been forgotten in place of Mumbai (even though it was changed less than 15 years ago). Likewise, I was just reading a book that mentions Calcutta, which hasn't been the official name of the city in over 15 years.

We had all sorts of fun booking things in Scotland, when we told them our address was Aberdeen. :D

How about Kitchener, Ontario, which was once called Berlin?

(Hate to ask, but what particular 'Themes' are we talking about....Moon River?) ;)

Yes indeed. If you lived in my state (Georgia) you could visit many world capitals without stepping outside the state: we have Athens (of course), but also Rome, Vienna, and Cairo -- which is pronounced Cay-ro for some reason...). ;p
