New to Princess.

Couple of Questions

 

Does Princess supply Beach towels for the pool or to be taken off ship for beach days?

 

Is the a blow dryer in your state room?

Yes, towels are by the pools and may also be in your storeroom. There is a blow dryer in the cabin. Some complain that it is not powerful enough, but I find it to be quite adequate.

Beach towels are located by every pool and available when you disembark the ship for use ashore but make certain you bring them back or you will be charged.

 

Blow dryers are located in every stateroom but not the best.

Most of the ships have eliminated beach towels being stocked in your room.

You'll have to get them at the pool before leaving the ship or at the gangway.

I find it easier to pick them up the night before so I can pack them in our beach carry bag.

If you ask your room steward , they can supply you .

I found the hairdryer on the Ruby was nothing more than a not breathe, if you have long or thick hair you might want to bring your own otherwise it might take a while to get the job done.

They sign them out to your cabin! HAL puts them in your cabin at the beginning of the cruise and if they are not there at the end you get billed.

There haven't been towels in our cabin for at least the last 4 cruises we took. Go to the pool deck, grab a towel, go to the beach, bring the towel back. No one is looking.

Royal Caribbean tried charging a deposit for towels and I'm pretty sure I read that they back off from that craziness.

I did not say Princess has towels in your cabin I said HAL does, that’s how they handle towels being taken ashore.

 

If they, Princess, allow everyone to take towels from the pool ashore and not returned that’s a crazy way of handling it and a good way to lose towels.

 

Also never said anything about a deposit?

 

Maybe a policy change is in order.

This must be working or they would change.

Princess does not make you sign out towels. Perhaps you are thinking of some other cruise lines.

For a while they were making people sign out for MUTS blankets on some ships.
