Travelcat2 Posted February 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2018 Keith, When I saw that you started a thread on the Regent board I thought (hoped) that you had finally booked a Regent cruise and almost fainted:evilsmile:. Enjoy your time in Sydney - such a beautiful city! Jackie

cwn Posted February 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2018 We are visiting Sydney, Australia for ten days and while having breakfast this morning the Regent Seven Seas Navigator arrived to White Bay.Keith Thanks for the photo.... We have had a nice day in Sydney. The only thing that would have been better...to be docked by the Bridge. White Bay is the pits! We did the Opera House tour. It was great. The history is so interesting!! Also discovered the cute town of Balmain by accident, close to the terminal. Captain just announced we are almost ready to sail..at 6PM. I am still posting daily at 2018worldcruise.blogspot.com if anyone is interested in the world cruise.
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 15, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Jackie I am sure sometime we will try Regent. Wes thank you for the good wishes. I have loved following your trip with Ida. cwn good point about White Bay. When we got back to our room a little while ago I didn't see the ship in port so I am assuming you have departed. Continue to enjoy. Keith
JMARINER Posted February 15, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Odd that the ship is docked in the back bay. Every Regent cruise that I have been on [3] in Sydney has been dock at the "Rocks". I will ask and find out why they would put the world cruiser out in the hinterlands. ;( J
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 15, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted February 15, 2018 It seems like every few days we see a RCI ship docked at Circular Bay as one was yesterday. Not sure if they are getting priority because of volume of ships. Keith

BBWC Posted February 15, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Keith, the large ships get to dock at Circular Quay because they do not fit under the bridge. Sent from my iPad using Forums
xrvlcruiser Posted February 15, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Thanks Keith! Voyager of the Seas was at Overseas terminal . . . . 3,000+ passengers! I did the nice Opera House/Bondi Beach tour and then walked from the Rocks, to the QVB and down to the Aquarium - where our shuttle was waiting. A nice and beautiful day in Sydney. I'm sorry to have missed the Serenity and Symphony by one day. Keith and Anne Marie: continue to enjoy your time with your Family! Peggy
