Please tell me about the Pinnacle Grill and the MDR

And I have NEVER in all my cruises seen the caesar salad in the PG made with bottled dressing.
We've had that -- the whole "table side" event was throwing the blob of what appeared to be bottled dressing into the bowl, throwing in the lettuce, tossing it around, then plating it. It may have been a one-off, but it was one of the reasons we no longer go to the PG for dinner. I can get that kind of food at home. ;)

Ok, my next PG meal I am going to ask all about the dressing and report back!

Please do. I can't see hal making all the dressing from scratch but I'll be happy to admit I'm wrong. I may ask myself if I can remember ;). Every time I've been in the pinnacle the dressing is in a dish and they add garlic (if I remember correctly), anchovies etc to it with the lettuce in a larger bowl then toss.

To get a scratch dressing base requires a food processor (at least for me). I’m pretty sure that the noise wouldn’t be appreciated. I’m sure hoping they made that part!

I usually use an immersion blender when I make it from scratch.

I am old school. I do it manually in a wooden bowl.
Dinner for two, definitely -- but large quantities I don't have the stamina... Can't imagine what I'd feel like if I made dressing by hand for everyone at PG (my right arm might have a little more muscle though). ;)
