upwarduk Posted March 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Does anyone know if the pool in the Solarium in heated during the winter months? Baltic cruises in the summer: The solarium pool is open for a couple of hours in the afternoon, for families, as the outside pools are too cold. That therefore indicates to me that the pool is heated.
B x Posted March 30, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2018 I would say only if they have to. Last year I mentioned how cold the solarium pool was as to the hotel manager when we met as a cocktail bash, he said it was, I suggested otherwise and surprise surprise, for the rest of the cruise it was beautifully warm. Bribrittmom Posted March 31, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 31, 2018 I thought the solarium pool on the Silhouette was heated when we sailed in March. I am a real wimp about pool temps and it felt great to me.

noah53 Posted April 1, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 1, 2018 Solarium pool on Reflection was warm for 11 day cruise Jan 29th.
dkjretired Posted April 1, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 1, 2018 Warmer because it is inside. Sun shining on the glass roof helps On our last cruise on Equinox the Solarium water was quite cool. It definitely was not heated, it was room temperature and the AC was on.
Rare hcat Posted April 1, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 1, 2018 On one of our our Infinity cruises, the T pool was kept at same temp as the hot tubs...it was awful. They had just come from Alaska so I get that maybe? But they adamantly refused to lower the temp despite many requests by guests, More recently it was a pleasant temp...luck of the draw I guess,
