healizord Posted April 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2018 Wasabi mashed potatoes - is it very spicy? Do you prefer the lobster bisque or crab cakes (are either very onion tasting)? What is the best entree that doesn’t have red meat? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

The crab cake was excellent but you only get one [emoji17] They do limit you to 2 appetizers so pick carefully. Sorry, we both had red meat so I can’t answer your last question. We had a great time, definitely worth it.

If they have the Chilean sea bass it is rather good but generally we do order steak.

Between the lobster bisque and crab cake, I prefer the bisque - and no, it is not onion tasting. When I don't want red meat, I get the 9 oz lobster tail. ridesshadow Posted April 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2018 If we ate at Nick & Noras we could have surf and turf. You eat the surf and I will have the turf. (Note: This is my wife's post and I am hoping she will like the fish so I can have a nice BIG steak) Sent from my H710VL using Forums mobile app
mishka422 Posted April 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 24, 2018 The crab cakes were amazing! To me the mashed potatoes weren't spicy but were very good. Sent from my SM-G925V using Forums mobile app
skiingj Posted April 24, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 24, 2018 The mash has just a small dollop of Wasabi in the center. If you don't say Wasabi I've found they don't come with it. I usually order the filet mignon, sometimes with the dry rub from another steak they have in the menu.

Djptcp Posted April 29, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 29, 2018 DH and I were on the Miracle in late March and ate at Nick and Nora's twice during the cruise. Delicious! I had surf and turf the first night and just the lobster tail the second time. DH had the 18 oz, ribeye steak, but way too much after eating two appetizers and a salad. He had surf and turf the second time. The French onion soup is marvelous and the crab cake is very good. There are two breads - focaccia and brioche. There is a chicken entrée, but we have never tried it. There is also a pasta dish entrée, again didn't try it. Never had the wasabi mashed potatoes. DH had the lobster bisque and said it was very good.
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted April 29, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 29, 2018 The lobster bisque was my favorite thing I ate on our last cruise. The crab cake was good, but if you are a soup person, get the bisque. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
coevan Posted April 29, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 29, 2018 you can get both, soup and salad are not appetizers. I had Caesar Salad with fresh anchovies, crab cake, and the Onion Soup, no problem, followed by the most tender MR N.Y. Steak.
healizord Posted April 29, 2018 Author #12 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Thanks - can’t wait to try the steakhouse. Only two weeks until I’m on the Miracle. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
