In Cape Canaveral....the four hotels closest to the port are Country Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites, Residence Inn and Radisson At The Port.

All are about a mile to the port and all offer the park and cruise option. The first three also have free breakfast...the Radisson does not but there is an on-site restaurant, a family restaurant next door and a McDonalds across the street.

Have a wonderful cruise!!!

We stayed at the residence Inn in Port Canaveral. We left our car there for $6/night. They had a shuttle to the ship for $8/pp but there were three of us and it was cheaper to take a cab for $15 so that’s what we did. Plus with taking a cab you can leave whenever you want .

Diane, do you know if we book the Park n Stay rate at the Radison, if they will allow additional passengers on the port shuttle, for an extra fee of course? There will be 4 of us.

Yes they will.....

We have even booked a different rate and added the shuttle fee after we got there. If you don’t like the shuttle time they give you then take a cab to the port and just use the shuttle after you return.

You are so close to the port a cab is about $10-$12..

Well I’m not Diane but if there’s four of you it is much cheaper to take a taxi to the ship then use the shuttle. The taxi will be about $15 for all four of you.

  • 4 weeks later...

We are sailing in April 2019 and looking at the Best Western (we have points we can use). Do you know anything about them good or bad? also do they have a shuttle from the airport to hotel and then back to the airport? Thank you in advance for any help or advise.

Google Sleep Park Cruise Canaveral and you will find several options. .

Check the fine print before choosing an option. Some of them are not well secured, or you have to drive to a separate site to park. They have limited shuttle times, and some charge a fee for the shuttle in addition to the fee.

Enjoy your cruise.

We have sailed out of Canaveral several times and we prefer to book an inexpensive hotel along I-95 and park at Park-N-Cruise on Merritt Island. I like their continuous shuttle times and I know their parking is safe and secure. We usually end up spending about the same as the cheaper inclusive options on less than the better ones.
