BBMacLaird Posted May 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2018 Azamara is going to South Africa, and Kenya, Madagascar, and Mozambique in 2020! Here’s a comprehensive blog of what to see and do, with loads of gorgeous photos! https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/cape-town-2020-were-cruising-south-africa There’s so much to do...wine routes to explore, beaches, street art, national parks and wild game reserves, even penguins to see! NC&KY Posted May 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2018 Re the Cape Town to Dubai itinerary (Quest departing Cape Town 2/20/20), will an excursion to see the Taj Mahal be an option?
ECCruise Posted May 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2018 Re the Cape Town to Dubai itinerary (Quest departing Cape Town 2/20/20), will an excursion to see the Taj Mahal be an option? They do have excursions for this sailing posted. Not sure they are correct, though, since they do have a tour to the Taj which leaves from Mumbai and then returns to Dubai, which is the disembarkation port. Not sure how that would work. It is pricey, at around $7k for 2.
LisaAtlCruiser Posted June 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2018 I am booking one of these cruises in September when I am on my new cruise. So excited....but then I have to begin the long wait until Dec 2020...
excitedofharpenden Posted June 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2018 I have been looking at a "repo" in November 2020 on Pursuit. Lovely itinerary, but too many late arrivals and early departures which for me isn’t what Azamara is about for me. We will see...... Phil

Trend Posted June 25, 2018 #9 Share Posted June 25, 2018 Just booked our 1st Azamara Cruise for Feb. 2020 on the Quest. 10 days round trip from Cape Town and 5 days Pre-Micato Land tour to Victoria Falls Zimbabwe and Botswana. Itinerary looks awesome! We also booked the Feb 2020 but not sure if we are going to do their Micato land as it is dry season up there and told water falls are not grand. Other choice is Kruger in SA.
Grandma Cruising Posted June 25, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 25, 2018 Dry season is usually the best time to see animals as they have to use the waterholes. Sent from my iPad using Forums

No, in fact it is the height of the wet season and the prime time to visit the falls. https://wild-wings-safaris.com/travel-guide-calendars/when-to-visit-victoria-falls/
