Rare flarad Posted June 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2018 So two years ago we were able to check a twelve pack of water on the Escape. I’m gathering from what I’m reading that this is no longer the case?

yankees111 Posted June 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2018 No reason to even buy water on the ship. The tap water is completely sufficient to drink. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Sauer-kraut Posted June 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2018 You can bring on your own refillable bottles if you want. Just make sure they are empty when returning from any ports.

emcelh Posted June 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2018 Ahhhhhh,,,, not so much. It's a matter of taste. I find it fine but then I don't drink bottled water very often anyway.
Rare flarad Posted June 14, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted June 14, 2018 Thanks. We will definitely bring our refillables. Sent from my iPad using Forums
adjensen Posted June 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 14, 2018 Thanks. We will definitely bring our refillables. Don't refill directly from the water dispensers, you'll get yelled at. Instead, fill a glass with water/ice and then use that to fill your water bottle. Refilling directly heightens the risk of cross contamination. LrgPizza Posted June 14, 2018 #11 Share Posted June 14, 2018 [emoji79]wonder about packed in a suitcase? Sent from my iPad using Forums Nope. They will find it, and you will be called to the naughty room to retrieve your bags. That sucks because it can interrupt dinner and will definitely delay delivery of your suitcase. Just drink the water on the ship like a human.
Rare BostonGal35 Posted June 14, 2018 #12 Share Posted June 14, 2018 ive usually gotten a couple of bottles thru in my checked bag, but they are bottles taht are usually leftover from our hotel stay as we usually fly in a day or two early. we always bring refillables, ship water is totally fine to drink and i actually like the taste better than the nasty aquafina they sell (which is bottled water, not spring water, huge difference)

I will, we are fine with tap water it’s just last time we crushed the Escape you could check water as bottles are so convenient. No big deal though. Thanks for the help. Love my butler Posted June 15, 2018 #17 Share Posted June 15, 2018 NCL doesn't search you when getting off the ship, yet. Feel free to take anything off you want.
Maniacal Cruiser Posted June 15, 2018 #18 Share Posted June 15, 2018 NCL doesn't search you when getting off the ship, yet. Feel free to take anything off you want. Bad advice. Taking ANY sort of food product off of a cruise ship in many countries/ports will/can land you in serious trouble with local authorities.
