Arcade package? A separate card or use your "key"

If you purchase the arcade package, do you get a separate card, or is it one card does it all? I am trying to figure out how to arrange things for the kids.

As far as I know it's use your key. I believe guest services can set limits on how much the kids will be able to spend on their cards.

So we should be able to by the arcade unlimited package but otherwise not allow spending privileges?

Everyone in the cabin needs to buy the unlimited arcade package. So all room keys for your cabin will work.

 

And the package was only good on "green" card readers,,,, so you have to ensure that your kids understand that any other color reader is "off limits",,, else end up with a huge bill at the end.

Others have reported you can select only certain people to have the arcade package if you call NCL (not if you book the arcade package online though).

 

If spending privileges are disabled then the kids can't rack up any charges, since their card will not work in non-green games.

The wording had changed when I looked yesterday. The "everyone in the cabin" was not there. My mom was able to gift it to just my kids.

Doesn't appear as if the Arcade Package is offered on all ships. I looked for our sailing on the Dawn (March 2019) and it is not offered.

It didn’t show up for our 11/18 sailing on the Escape till we got to 60 days out.
