Double Sized Balconies on Koningsdam and Statendam

For those who are interested in seeing what the double sized balconies look like in Room 4154 and the one down from it. Pictures are attached.. (it also includes activity booklets for the 11 day cruise as well) I hosted a party for 15 on our balcony no problem... Everyone just had to file through the room.

We had 4154 a couple years ago, great cabin and balcony. We hosted the roll call for sail away with room to spare.

I wonder how early you have to book these cabins with the xl balcony. I am hoping to snag one for our winter 2020 cruise with our teens in a close by interior.

We had 4154 and 4156, its massive...

 

The kids set up a slalom course between the two balconies using tables and chairs - hence the stroller in the photo.

It would be nice if HAL provided more furniture on these big balconies. A couple of loungers would be nice!

My thoughts exactly. Having that much room, I would think they could put a larger table to have breakfast on the balcony.

agreed, the furniture was pretty minimal. We ended up putting the table in our cabin out there occasionally.

 

You could always ask a steward, but probably unlikely they will have extra furniture.

 

Whats more likely is that HAL will classify these differently in the future to justify adding a few more chairs - and increase the cost accordingly.

I'm bringing two of these when we have one of these cabin's on NSs 11/19 transatlantic. They inflate instantaneously when you wave them in the air.
