Spring Ultra offer?

We got the Spring 2018 Ultra Cruise teaser a few days ago and are now impatiently, lol, waiting until 12/6 so we can book at least one.  This will be our first Ultra, we did a Premier on the Breeze in Sept and a Getaway on the Valor in Nov so were excited to both get Ultra offers.  Does anyone have an email, etc. on what ships/dates were offered for Ultra sailings last Spring?  I know this Spring will be different but just wondering how many they offered.  Hoping there is at least one from Galveston since we can drive a few hours to the port.

Got this as well but no hint as to what choices there will be.  Will be on Breeze on the 6th but hope I can book while onboard.

Oh we love the Breeze and sad she moved from Galveston!!  Have fun and surely you can book onboard.

I got the same email. I was wondering if the high rollers got an earlier date to book. I thought with the ultras they offered them to the big gamblers first then go down list. Anyone get an offer for before the 6th?

Yep. Mine is for the 4th. My first Ultra, so I’m pretty stoked!

Hopefully one of you will kindly let us know what ships dates are offered. It would be great to have a couple days to look over and plan even though there might not be much left!

I sure hope so too!  I wonder how quick they book up and what type of cabins book up first.

Sorry, no way to get a screenshot - it came up in that weird calendar view only. I booked the Carnival Sunshine 8 day southern Carib out of Port Canaveral. All other sailings were March, and 2 on 6 April. I’ll go back and try to grab the details. Hold please. 🙂

3 March Vista out of Galveston.

17 March Magic out of Miami.

24 March Dream out of New Orleans.

31 March Vista out of Galveston.

6 April Horizon out of Miami.

6 April Breeze out of Port Canaveral.

27 April Sunshine out of Port Canaveral (8 days).

I’m sure y’all can do the googling to find the specific routes. Good luck booking your Ultras!

Thanks CruiseMomTX.   My husband got the early access e-mail, but mine was for 2 days later...and here it is midnight, his email shows times 00 00 00 to LOOK and when I try, nothing showed up.  That's about par for the course.  So far, we have had 2 other invites, 3 ultras, one elite... and unable to take any of them due to sail dates.  SO aggravating!!!!  At least I know this one won't work either.  I need Apr 12/13 or 19/20...or JAN 12/13!!!  Sigh. No ultra in my future it seems.

My cruise price for the April 27 Sunshine was $1 less than retail. What a joke! I have been loyal to the players club because they have been fair with me but lately I have spent more and gotten less. I am moving my business to RCCL because I can score free balconies for less play even at 1 point per $5 in. For slot players, they spell out what perks you get for points unlike Carnival who keeps it a big secret.

Maybe when I have been gone awhile, better offers will come from Carnival.

I was wondering what the prices will be, can't book until the 6th.  But really $1 less than retail, come on Carnival.  We will be Platinum on our next cruise and then will try going back to RCCL, its been quite some time since we sailed them but sounds like its worth it.

But didn’t your Ultra offer come with casino cash? And all of the free gifts? I had an offer for a free interior (with $100 per person on board credit), and booked an 8 day Ultra cruise in a balcony cabin for about $1500 total. With that, I have $200 OBC, $500 in casino cash, and all of the perks and gifts. I’m ok with paying that for an 8 day southern Caribbean cruise for a (so far) net cost of $800. Now if I can just win a new iPhone onboard, I’ll be set!

Thank you for posting. Sounds like there's no good deals.

Each offer is based on that player's level of play. Some people got free ($250 taxes/port charges) interior, ocean view, balcony, or suite with $500-$1000 casino cash. People who don't get a free cabin will find ultra cruises relatively expensive.

My offer was for $500 cash, my husband got no cash. We cruised on two premiers this year in the spring ultra window and 3 more regular cruises.. I had over 35,000 in points on premiers, my husband had about 20,000. I gambled a little less on the regular cruises but at least 10,000 points a cruise. If you add this up, Carnival is losing 2 players who earn over 100,000 points per year. We always get a balcony cabins as my husband will sit and read for hours and upgrading from an oceanview is way more expensive now than previously.

Since we cruise often, RCCL is much better for us as they will give you credit by combining points on all cruises for the year and their upgrade prices are much lower.

I just turned Diamond so it is disappointing to leave Carnival but I will not play on land or sea where I am not appreciated.

Congrats to those who scored free cabins and I would love to hear how much play/points you had to receive those offers.
