Marmaduke Posted December 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2018 When looking at the deck plans, cabins marked with a square contain a convertible sofa bed. Does this guarantee that the sofa in that cabin is next to the window and the bed near the bathroom? I am trying to avoid booking a cabin with the bed by the window and the sofa by the cabin door
WAVTAM Posted December 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2018 Correct...…..Ironically we prefer it the other way with bed by window.
gerelmx Posted December 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2018 True in S class ships, the position of the bed alternates, M class doesn't alternates all are bed by the bad.
Rare Cruise Raider Posted December 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2018 Check out the sticky (at least for the S class ships) to determine if the bed is next to the bathroom or the balcony. Then, from this page, click on the google link.
HelenREMfan Posted December 29, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2018 I rather thought it was the opposite way..... if you have a cabin with an additional bed, then is by the balcony doors. I prefer the bed near the door so book a room from the plan without a symbol.
helen haywood Posted December 29, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 29, 2018 Correct. if the cabin icon indicates it sleeps 3 or 4 then the main bed is always by the bathroom in S Class ships.
