Self disembark question

On oasis, when does the line start forming to self disembark?

Self disembarkation typically begins around 7:00 AM.

On our Oasis cruise, we went down around 6:15.  There were already a few (or maybe several) hundred people in line ahead of us.  It took more than an hour to wend our way around and get through customs.

 

So a couple of weeks ago on Harmony, I wanted to be earlier than that.  I asked at Guest Services where the line formed before walk-off, and she looked at me like I was crazy.  There's no line that early, she said.  Nevertheless, we went down at 5:45 and there were a few people in the line mid-ship (more in the line toward the aft).  Once they started debark, we were off and through customs in minutes.  Honestly one of the nicest debarkations ever!

I'd say it starts around 5-5:30.

60-90 minutes prior to stated  time.   minimum.  and it seems that each  cruise more and more people  are using it.

Sailed on the Oasis 8 times now and have done self debark each time.  

 

We go down and line up at 5:45am and there is typically 50-100 people already in front of us.  The longer you wait to go down the more crowded the elevators will become.

 

On our cruises we have always walked off the ship anywhere from 6:20-6:45am.
