Yep, and when I pay those prices, I expect someone to get onto the loungers for me.

If I pay enough, can I get my own cabana boy to lay me on the lounger????

Not sure but I am sure there will be some willing to supplement their cruise budget.

I wasn’t aware that such service was available.   Can you also have someone attend emergency drill for you?

Certainly,  I would volunteer if you pay my fare.

As time has gone by ... we've found sitting at a table with regular chairs at the pool area is the best option for us.  :classic_wink:

yep, don't think ive ever used longer on a ship.

Now that my normal seat is a wheelchair its even easier/

You can always lounge when you get home.

Ah! my pet peeve. Look at my signature.

I wonder if those loungers are deliberate policy to discourage those who don't like them from cruising. Providing a percentage of chairs would be cheaper, occupy less space and give more flexibility. Fancy sitting on the promenade deck and watching the sea? You can't, you get to stare at the sky or the bottom of the lifeboats. Other peeves, bar stools that are designed for people over 6 feet tall and seating designed for people with 12 inch wide hips.

You need to try other cruise lines.

Royal Caribbean has a lot of chairs on the pool deck.  And I don't think I have every seen a lounger on the promenade deck.

HAL has loungers on the promenade, most of which are for the Linai cabins (as the deck is their balcony).
