Can someone tell me what levels of Marriott match to what MSC levels for status match?  I can’t find it anywhere on MSC site.  I have multiple potential ways I could do a status match and not sure which one would give me the highest level.  Thank you

There are a few that still match to Black, but the generous matching to black ended in October.  You need to be at the very top. I matched Platinum Latitudes on NCL to Black in early Oct but was probably one of the last to be granted that.

I was just matched and given a 'classic' status - what ever that means?

I was Silver Elite with Marriott.

It means that you are on the lowest level that has benefits and it is set at 1 - 2199 points.

You will be credited with 1 point.

The other levels are SILVER  2200 - 4299 points; GOLD 4300 - 9999 points and BLACK 10,000+  points.

The major benefit for you will be the 5% discount

Points are awarded based on length of cruise, combined with experience, and spend pre- cruise as well as on-board spend (not including spend on the casino)

Wow, I guess we got in just in time.  My husband was top level on Marriott and they matched us to Black on MSC in late Oct. We are taking our first MSC cruise late June, so are interested to see how it goes.  We've sailed NCL (now silver), RC (gold) and Carnival before.
