Jasonmom Posted June 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2019 I just booked with $50 shore excursion perk. Is that per port or just $50 total?
Zippeedee Posted June 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Per port. Call to book your excursions and you won't be charged until you are onboard. If you book online you will be charged the full amount and credited with the $50 after the excursion is taken.
dbrown84 Posted June 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2019 it's per port. If you don't do an excursion at a port, you won't get the credit for that day
Paul Bogle Posted June 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Oddly enough you will receive the $50 credit even if you book a tour that costs less. In January our last stop was in Ocho Rios. As it was our six port in six days my mrs. was tired and just wanted to relax for the day. Since we had the credit I decided to take the morning trip to Dunn's River falls. The cost was around $44. The next day the full $50 was credited to our shipboard account.
hallux Posted June 26, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Also keep in mind that it's $50 per port per stateroom. Even if there are 2 guests in the room it's still only $50 per port where an excursion is taken.
bluesea777 Posted June 26, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Per port and per cabin.

Joanne G. Posted June 26, 2019 #9 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Is there a maximum amount of credit? My British Isles cruise next year has 12 ports, and I expect to book NCL excursions in every one. $600 credit would be sweet!
vince_g Posted June 26, 2019 #10 Share Posted June 26, 2019 Overnight stays count as one port, except Bermuda sailings which can receive up to 3 individual days of shore excursion credit. So if you book 3 tours for the days you are docked in Bermuda, you will get the credit for each

I prefer to just hang out in harvest Caye, so I was going to just skip any excursions there. Maybe I'll sign up for something cheap, like the paddle boats, and see what happens. It's only like 30 bucks so at least it won't actually cost me anything. Maybe I'll get an extra 20 bucks credit and splurge on a shot of Johnny Walker blue 😁
