Explorer of the Seas delay.

Recommended Posts

Apparently Explorer of the Seas was delayed leaving Stavanger, Norway last night.

Various different comments on Social Media as to the reason, but some maintain that there were divers in the water inspecting the propellers.

She won’t arrive in Southampton until 09.30- 10.00 tomorrow Sunday, so boarding is delayed by 2 hours.

A letter has been posted, informing passengers that they can drop off their luggage, but boarding will not be allowed until 1300 and will be by deck..

Son is board now and there were definitely divers in the water inspecting something on the ship, though he wasn't sure what it was. They have been told that they will be in to Southampton 3 hours late. Apparently everyone got 30 mins free internet to help make any alterations to arrangements. They left Stavanger around 8 hours late

30 minutes?  What about people having to rearrange flights etc. Seems a bit mean to me.

Yes it's so "mean" of the cruise line to give everyone free wifi minutes.

30 minutes is nothing when you have to change arrangements through no fault of your own.

I'm sure Guest Services and/or the Voom desk can allocate additional time on a case by case/as needed basis.
