If you book a future cruise while on a cruise is there a discount???

No, you get the same as booking onshore however you do get a low deposit and onboard credit if booking select. See the extract from the FAQs below.

About 3 years ago we booked a future cruise whilst on board and got a good deal plus £375 each on board credit. We have never found anything like as good since. I think those offers are well gone now.

Not seen anything as good as that in recent years.

We got that level of obc for a 24 day cruise on Arcadia (balcony cabin) in 2017, booked a year in advance through a TA. We thought the base price was pretty good as well.

Seen similar levels of obc offered for a 35 day  Ventura 2021 cruise  - much more obc than we got when we booked, but the base price has increased by £1000 pp, so the nett effect is that the cruise is more expensive.

Because we need an accessible cabin we have to book on launch, so we normally only receive basic OBC. But you are right that when the higher levels are offered its usually after a base price hike  or it has been when we have occasionally checked whether our price has been bettered.
