Princess Tuxedo rental out of business

If you have paid and are expecting a tuxedo in your room, you may be disappointed. Confirmed by Princess by phone by my sister today. Dispute with your credit card asap. Better to just buy one.

This is not a discussion of what you can get by with wearing on formal night. Just trying to make folks who have paid for rentals aware of the problem. My sister is celebrating her 50 th wedding anniversary and want to dress up to make it special.

Good to know, thanks.  I've always thought that if you feel the need to wear one, it's easier to buy one.  They're very inexpensive when they're on sale in most big department stores.  Wear it 3 times and you're ahead of the rental game.

Don't you pay Princess for this? If so, Princess is the one to contact for a refund.

This sucks, we were planning on renting a tux for our Christmas cruise.  Guess we'll just be more casual since we're not gonna pack one.  Takes up too much space.

Not surprised they are going out of business.  I bought mine when I found that two rentals paid for it.  And WILL wear it on Sky.

I don't see any problem. If people really want to dress up they'll pack the tux from home & have it for all the formal nights. Of course it might involve a little extra cost for the airlines.

oskidunder, thanks for letting everyone know.  It would be tough if someone had planned on this and didn't bring any other clothes they could wear on formal night.
