Divina cruise- how many formal nights

Hello,

I am getting ready for my upcoming Divina cruise and am trying to determine how many formal nights there are going to be. Last year on my 10 day cruise there were 2. This year I’m doing an 11 day cruise (over New Years if that makes a difference) and am finding conflicting information of 2 and 3. I can’t find an answer on the MSC website all I’ve found is that 7 day cruises have 2. So I thought I’d see anybody had current info in how many to expect.

We had 3 formal nights on the last 3 cruises we've been on which were either 10 or 11 nights.

Our last 11 day Divina cruise had 2 elegant nights.

Formal night are discretionary not enforced in any way.  

You will find Divina in the Caribbean even less formal but the good thing is it's YOUR choice so enjoy whatever you choose.

Formal nights on a cruise ship?  Disappeared a decade ago (except for cunard).

The answer is 2 or 3, depending on how you define "formal" night.  On my last 11 night Divina, there were 2 "Gala" nights and one "Elegant" night.  I asked what the difference was and they said that "Elegant" is not as formal as "Gala" ("Gala" is not that formal anyways).  Most people were not even aware of the "Elegant" night so it was mostly casual that night.  I was also told that these nights are not preset and are subject to change and selected as they go.
