redhatters Posted February 9, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2020 Does anyone know of a private van driver who would take people from St. George to Horseshoe Beach. I have group of 20 arriving May 13-15. Just need one day May 14 to visit a beach other than Tobacco Bay.
1025cruise Posted February 9, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2020 You might want to ask on the Bermuda Ports of Call board. With that said, you will probably not find a van that can fit 20.
Sunshine3601 Posted February 9, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2020 The public buses on bermuda island are awesome. We use this everytime we visit bermuda. I recommend you check the schedule on the bermuda bus website

Stick93 Posted February 9, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2020 I am on this cruise in July and they stop in Hamilton for a day and half and then st Goerge for a day in a half. From Hamilton is a public bus away or you can take a couple of cabs with everyone. Prob won’t be too much $$$$
blueridgemama Posted February 9, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2020 Why not go to Horseshoe Bay when you are docked in Hamilton?

They usually give better information
Sunshine3601 Posted February 9, 2020 #8 Share Posted February 9, 2020 If your cruise will dock at both st George and hamilton I would go to the beach at tobacco bay that is couple of minutes from st George. Then when you dock in hamilton you can take bus #7 from bus depot downtown hamilton to elbow beach or horseshoe beach. You also have the ferry as an option to various destinations on the island. You can purchase tickets at the cruise port that will be good for hop on hop off options for multidays. https://www.gov.bm/residents/driving-and-transportation. You can view transportation options on bermuda website. Very user friendly. Great public transportation.
