WOW bands and Harmony

Couple of things what is the WOW bands that I have heard about? Are they available on the Harmony?

Yes they are available.  However they aren't perfect.  You have to remove when ordering a drink and I also removed when going into the pool/hot tub.  I prefer the lanyards.

They were in our (suite) stateroom on the Harmony when we sailed in January.  Didn't even bother taking them out of the little holder they came in.  Can't see a need for them.

I lost mine on HOTS August 2019. But I prefer using a lanyard.

Yup, it's all we used onboard for our Harmony cruise in 2019. Worked flawless for us.

And if you have one from a previous sailing it can be reprogrammed for the new sailing.

 

In December when we sailed the Harmony the people selling the WOW bands were in Boleros on Deck 5 (the deck you board)

From RC web site: WOW Bands are not reusable and are unique to each sailing.

What the web site says and what happens on the ship can be quite different, and not just for Wow bands.

Good to know. I'll bring my band that I got on the Harmony and hope to be able to reuse it.

On the SOTS, our WOW bands worked ok at most bars and opening the cabin door.  Needed the S&S card for specialty restaurants and exiting the ship.  They're cheap and reusable, but by any means not necessary.

I actually lost mine on HOTS. The band came undone so probably won’t even take it out of cabin next cruise.
