very interesting question, hope to see FOBC will be transferred to a future new cruise.

That is how I understood it to be.

When my May 2nd TA to Amsterdam was canceled

I elected for the FCC and the FOBC at the 125% promo.

I elected FOBC for my cancelled cruise but I have not seen it yet.  I would expect it to take less time than the refunds/FCC but who knows.  My cruise was just cancelled in this last round so it hasn't been that long for me yet.  If I don't see it by the end of May I will start to get concerned.

Also, not entirely sure how it will work...will it be a Certificate that I can apply to any cruise? Will they apply it automatically to my next scheduled cruise so I can see it in the Planner?  I'm not really sure and it wasn't entirely clear on the website.  Either way, I'm okay with, just curious to know.

I would think it would work just like a FCC

Celebrity has it set up that anyone can apply their FCC to a booking on their website

just click on the drop down , Royal doesn't have this yet.

I could have sworn my original email referred to this Cruise Planner Onboard Credit as a FOBC .

Now the website says "

If you purchased Cruise Planner Items:

• You can opt-in to receive an Onboard Credit in the value of 125% of the total Cruise Planner purchases on your reservation.

Click here by May 4th, 2020 to request your higher value credit. Then, we’ll email you your credit by May 22nd, 2020.

Question is is my OBC going to be limited to only items in the Planner ?

Not sure what you are asking here.

If you opted into the 125% for the OBC you will receive 125% of cruise planner purchases that were paid in cash.  If you used OBC to pay for something you won’t get that back.

Once it’s available you will get an email and you can have it applied to any future sailing.

So now we have CPOC as a FOBC. I know what the Harley alphabet is, now I must learn the new Royal ones.

I ride a FLHTCUSE and FLHP. The Good Doctor rides FLTRXS and FLHP.

Can I use it to pay my tips or buy a watch  maybe use it in the casino  items that are not in the Cruise Planer .

What if I did an excursion that I didn't buy in advance with the Cruise Planner.

Whatever you don’t use in the cruise planner you can use on board.

33. Once the 125% Onboard Credit offer is applied to a new booking, is it refundable?

Once the onboard credit is applied to a new booking, it has no cash value and is not refundable. Once onboard, any amount unused during the voyage will not be refunded at the end of the voyage

34. Once the 125% Onboard Credit offer is applied to a new booking, will it be available for use prior to sailing or only once onboard?

The onboard credit will be available for both pre-cruise purchases and onboard purchases.

When I received the same email for our two “3 Night Dining Packages” that were previously purchased for our 4/17 cruise, I clicked to receive the higher value credit.  Last week, I saw that instead of the OBC, they had refunded my original purchase amounts to my credit card.  I’m not sure what happened but that outcome is OK with me!
