Although this event, shooting down the Red Baron, was attributed to Robert Buie it is more likely Cedric Popkin, another Aussie, who is now considered to have fired the fatal shot.

Well you learn something every day, that headstone is in the Brooklyn Cemetery, NSW. 

I went passed there many a time going to the Central Coast.

I posted a response and its not showing so here goes again. Hmmm.

Quite correct.

Another search for a geocache brought me to this spot in a little historic cemetery a few metres from the Old Pacific highway and Brooklyn road intersection. The previous "Where Am I" reminded me of it. Amazing what is sometimes in your own backyard that you don't know about.
