Eddie Wilson Posted September 28, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2020 Asking experienced cruisers for your guidance. We just don't know enough about the midship hump. In the reshuffling of ships, we were moved from category 1B room (Brilliance) in the middle of the Hump on Deck 9, to another 1B room (Jewel) front of the ship. Is this difference worth bringing to their attention? Thanks in advance, Eddie
Sunshine3601 Posted September 28, 2020 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2020 Are you happy with the location of the cabin. If not, then call and see what else is available in your category.
dani negreanu Posted September 28, 2020 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2020 Of course. The starboard “humps” in Radiance class are very well located. Stayed in #8594 and #8596 — quiet and central. There is a wall which blocks the noise from the Centrum.

Dunfer Posted September 28, 2020 #7 Share Posted September 28, 2020 Been on the hump on each ship of that class. In my opinion, MUCH better than a forward balcony. I would be making a phone call ASAP.
Doug & Linda Posted September 29, 2020 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2020 Yes, the Hump on any ship is the "best" view in the house....give them a call.

Eddie Wilson Posted September 29, 2020 Author #10 Share Posted September 29, 2020 Well RCL may not have moved me off the Hump yet. I called, the agent tried to switch me back but had trouble as price was higher by about $500. He contacted his resolution manager, who stated they were not 100% finished with the transfer from Brilliance to Jewel. So I guess I need to give them a few more days......... Thanks for your input on Hump rooms, we booked this one at the Next Cruise Desk, and that agent pushed that Hump pretty well, sold us on it.
