Jewel of the Seas - Hump

Asking experienced cruisers for your guidance.  We just don't know enough about the midship hump.

In the reshuffling of ships, we were moved from category 1B room (Brilliance) in the middle of the Hump on Deck 9, to another 1B room (Jewel) front of the ship.  Is this difference worth bringing to their attention?

Thanks in advance,

Eddie

Of course.

The starboard “humps” in Radiance class are very well located.

Stayed in #8594 and #8596 — quiet and central. There is a wall which blocks the noise from the Centrum.

Yes, you are right about that.  Nice each time I stayed in one on the jewel or serenade.

Happy Holiday Dani

Good to hear. I’m in 8594 on an April 7th cruise..

Well RCL may not have moved me off the Hump yet.  I called, the agent tried to switch me back but had trouble as price was higher by about $500.  He contacted his resolution manager, who stated they were not 100% finished with the transfer from Brilliance to Jewel.

So I guess I need to give them a few more days.........

Thanks for your input on Hump rooms, we booked this one at the Next Cruise Desk, and that agent pushed that Hump pretty well, sold us on it.
