Looks like Glory is in Dry Dock slip in Freeport

As i am going on the Glory in March, looks like she is in a dry dock slip in the Freeport shipyard. Maybe she is having things done to get ready to cruise again hopefully.

I'm on her in June.   Is this a scheduled dry dock, or is it just some sprucing up before returning to service??

I don't believe scheduled....like i said it is docked in a dry dock slip, but who knows whats going on.

Last time I was on the Glory we had a accident in Cozumel.  Maybe they are finally getting around to doing a proper fix on the back end of the ship.

That would be a good guess.  I'd bet you are correct.

That's the wet berth dock, and the repairs Glory needed from the accident don't require a dry dock.  Grand Bahamas Shipyard only has one of its three drydocks still available;  one broke from Oasis, one was damaged in the hurricane last year.  We are scheduled for that wet berth as of the 15th, and on the dock on the 19th.

According to crew-center.com, a 2020 dry dock schedule was posted in September of last year. Fascination was scheduled for dry dock in Freeport Nov 7-19, 2020. I guess they decided to move Glory up on the schedule in Fascination’s place.

That was my thought too.  And it makes sense that they would use it for Glory's necessary and important repairs in the abandoned Fascination slot.

We are scheduled on 14th of March....I am trying to stay hopeful but not getting that fuzzy feeling again. I have another cruise booked for December 2021 on Sky Princess as a back up. If Glory sails that will be awesome 2 cruises one year

Glory has left Freeport and is headed for Miami.

No clue, just working off marinetraffic.  Never went in dry dock, so I suspect it was just for more repairs to the damaged area of the MDR.
