Adult beach bar. Roberto made me a Havana nights. Now this is the same drink I had last night at the twist. But this one looks better and tastes better. The one last night was all green. Roberto speculates it was mixed instead of layered and now I’m getting the melon first instead of everything mixed.

They played a few AC/DC songs so that was pretty good. The show is mostly for the kids I think.

Ya I wondered about that. So what was there to do for you if you didn’t like the show or Kareoke?  I’ve never been to a AI but not sure I would like it.  I think I would be bored in the evenings.

There’s suppose to be karaoke some nights in the sports bar. There’s also a night club open on Friday and Saturday nights.

There’s the bar out in the middle. Twist bar. There’s the movie theater that has movies at 7 and 10. I’m not sure there’s much else the night club on weekends.

Will you spend all of your time at the resort or will you be doing any excursions?

I suppose after a day in the sun, water and having drinks I would probably welcome early nights to bed.

When cruising I usually just close the casino down because everything else is shut down.  Sometimes it turns out well sometimes not so good 😀

I would’ve liked a casino. I think there was one i looked in the hotel zone that had a casino. But yeah if gambling is your main thing I wouldn’t come here.

It isn’t a main thing but I have been known to close them only because it’s the only thing with action late nights. I don’t think I would go to a casino on an island unless it was part of the resort. I do like Atlantis in Bahamas.

Hey, Greg, I finally remembered to look on the Cancun board for your live review.  Took me most of the day to catch up.  I’m so jealous.  Place looks lovely with a nice assortment of restaurants and bars, pools, and beach. Loving all the pictures.  All those photos of liquor, though, and didn’t spot a single bottle of Southern Comfort.  🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi all!

Saint Greg ~ I'm enjoying your AI experience. When we went to one in Cancun years ago I took excursions to Xcaret & Chichen Itza, both interesting in different ways.. Something to think about if you get tired of relaxing. We've done several AIs in various places but prefer cruising. Great alternative at this time though.

Enjoy & stay safe.

~ Jo ~ 😊

The vendors didn’t have flip flops. I continued to the PH store. They didn’t have flip flops either. Apparently the resort credit book has a $50 credit for that store but you have to spend 50 to get 50. I may get a shirt or something but I don’t need $100 of stuff from there. It would be great for a family though.

I went to the pier 21 store which does have flip flops. They say I’m a size 30 (ahem). I like the cloth flip flops. Those only went up to 29. They had some green rubber ones that were 30. There’s another pier 21 store down by the pool I’m going to check with tomorrow.

Now I haven’t gotten a picture of the star class liquor yet. They are supposed to have some different options at their bar. I’ll try to remember to do that tomorrow. But they have some weird misses. Like no grey goose. Even at star class.

the Mexican show should be a good one...since this is Mexico. I figure they should have that down better than Peter Parker. If it were the Italian show or something I’d be less confident.

Well it’s time to go see the Japanese show.
