St. Thomas Wedding - island bliss wedding

My daughter is looking to have a destination wedding.  She is considering going with island bliss wedding on St. Thomas the day her ship will be at port. My question is has anyone used island bliss wedding and what was your experience? I am seeing mixed reviews on Yelp and there doesn't seem to be any current threads on this board about the experience.

Thank you,

The odds are very strong that cruise ports will be visited on the scheduled days — but there is always a chance that weather, mechanical problem, or whatever might result in a port call being cancelled.  I would consider that before investing too much time or emotion or money on that sort of destination wedding.

You’re assuming the ship will actually stop at the island as originally planned.
Read your T&Cs: Ship can change itinerary for any reason deemed appropriate by Master (e.g., weather).

Bad bad (bad) idea!

Agree with the previous posters. If you choose to have a destination wedding in St. Thomas, by far the best option is to do a land stay there. Cruise ships miss ports or are late waaaay too often to risk not making her wedding. Most people who do cruise ship weddings organize them through the cruise line and either do them in the embarkation port or on the ship, so a missed port won't be an issue.

There is a board here for Honeymoon &Wedding Cruises, further down the boards page under Special Interest Cruising.  You might ask there if anyone has researched them.
