In a big TA site already Sky Princess' itineraries for summer 2023 are released.

It's gonna be based in Southampton and will sail itineraries to Northern Europe.

Some hints of the site or can you put the itineraries here?

Thanks for posting. It seems like she will sail a similiar program to 2022.

Yeah, that's what I hate about Princess... Always repeating the same itineraries and destinations.

I should have expected this since they are posting their deployment so early that it would mostly be the same as the previous years! 😛

This is similar to all the other cruise lines with bigger cruise ships.  Not too many ports can handle their size.  We have done Med cruises for a long time now visiting the same ports.  We just explore different areas each time and we LOVE IT!

Yeah but in destinatios like Santorini, Kotor, Mykonos (only one dock) they don't have an issue with tendering 😛 I refer to this destinations cause I'm from Greece and I know them better. But also many of the Fjords are tendering ports. I think mostly Princess, Viking and MSC Cruises tend to repeat destinations.

We have a port day in Athens.  We have been there before for a few days.  We were thinking on just getting off the ship.

Is there anything beside the Duty Free at the Port?

Sadly not to much except this. There are some caffes nearby, but there are plenty of local buses that take you almost everywhere. I would recommend Flisvos Marina which is very close. Very nice area to relax by drinking and eating! Also plan a visit maybe to Stavros Niarchos Foundation. It is a very fascinating building with lots to see, just google it. These are some alternatives to the usual landmarks of Athens.

Cruising starting back up will take a while.  Cruise lines will probably start with fewer ships for a year or so, and still have to focus on how controlled Covid is in oversea ports.

Big ships have limited ports that can accommodate them, even with tenders. After being spoiled on the beloved Pacific Princess, I really became sold on the 700 or less passenger size.  I read she is debuting with Azamara as the Onward.

I changed travel schedule to more USA destinations for 2021 and 2022.  But definitely will be booking overseas again in 2023!  Thanks for info when Princess will release 2023. Very few lines have posted 2023 either.

I'll take a guess as to the rest of the 2023 Europe Deployment in addition to Sky - Emerald to Southampton to do Baltics/British Isles/Fjords, Regal to Copenhagen for Baltics, Enchanted to the Med and Island to do a similar pattern of longer European voyages after her 2023 World Cruise as she's scheduled for 2022.  In essence wash, rinse repeat of 2022 with a few ship swaps.  Time will tell if I have the # of ships and specific ships/destinations correct or not

These Enchanted itineraries were the ones I had booked before being cancelled, then I rebooked again for this year and they were cancelled!!!  I had 3 B2B RT Rome.

Maybe third time will be the charm - I had wanted  some of these ports that we had never been too, then a couple repeats that I enjoyed and excited to see again.

Thanks for posting
