Cruise check-in without spouse

My final payment is coming due on my November cruise. My husband has, once again, decided that he doesn't want to go, I love cruising alone. In the past I have informed the cruise line at check-in that he would not be sailing. My question is, with the new covid regulations and protocols should I let Celebrity know ahead of time that my husband will not be sailing. Thank you

Yes, you need to let them know before final payment.

Some cruises are seeing single rates--about 125% of your individual cost.

(ie say it is $2K pp for a balcony; you may find a single rate at $2500)

Call Celebrity & see if your cruise is offering these.

Also the new check-in rules are that everyone on the reservation must be present to start the checkin process.   While I'm sure they would eventually allow you to checkin solo it would generate a bunch of confusion at the terminal door.
