Price of alcoholic shots?

I’m not a big alcohol drinker. On vacation maybe 2 drinks a day. But love the coffee, water and fresh juice option. If I decided to buy refreshment package how much would a shot cost?  Was thinking I could get a few mocktails and add a shot. No idea if this is the most cost effective way of doing it for me but know I would not get my money’s worth buying the drink package.

$9-$12 depending on the specific liquor, plus 18% gratuity.

Essentially the same as a drink. Ie a titos & mixer drink is $10 a shot of titos is $10.

Thx for the info.  Thats almost as much as just ordering the alcoholic drink so my idea of getting refreshment package plus shot may not be such a good idea LOL

No it doesn't save a lot. For example my next cruise is 23 for refreshment and 50 for deluxe. So $27 difference. If you truly only drink 2 alcoholic drinks a day the refreshment would be the cheaper choice. Assuming you don't want the $13 alcohol. But if the 2 might actually be 3, with my pricing it would make sense to do deluxe. 

 

Another thing not everyone thinks of, but maybe I'm just picky...I like the deluxe because I can just toss a drink once the ice melts and get a new one. Which can happen fast depending on when you cruise.

You might as well just order the cocktail you want. It'll taste better and will only cost (maybe) a little more.

I actually drink less alcohol with the deluxe package, by never feeling obliged to finish the warm beer/wine or spirit at 2AM.  Now, if I had paid for them guess what I would most likely do?

just buy a small bottle for the room.  Cheaper than buying shots and not as expensive as a full alcohol package.

I believe alcohol shots, like Covid shots, should be free. Not holding my breath however.
