UNUSED???

Could this possibly mean that this is the guest’s first cruise since the shutdown so Royal has no “proof” the person is vaccinated other than the guest’s answer to the question?  If so, would this change after the CDC card has been loaded into the system?

That would be my assumption as well. My current invoice for next month just says (yes) but I cruised in Sept and my card has been recorded.

Have cruised twice in September on the Freedom and last month on the Symphony.  Was vaxxed in the spring and uploaded copies of vax cards.

To provide a response is probably a drop down box on the reservation system.  There may be one or more options with "Vaccinated".  This one may be one that should not be used hence "(unused)".  A different "Vaccinated" selection is probably available. 

 

In a database, if how data is used in the background for reports is changed, you don't want to delete an option that was previously used because it would skew the results.  Instead you try to change the name to alert someone not to use.

 

However, this is RC IT and it could mean just about anything.

You are probably correct. Royals IT department isn’t the greatest.
