Thank you for this summary! We have S310 booked on Enchanted this fall and were wondering about whether we'd get a daily replenish or just the one time per cruise minibar contents. Glad to hear I can get my preferred drinks that are only in cans that way. Did you try out the Enclave or take advantage of the reserved theater seating?

You are going to love this suite!!  We were in S310 on the Enchanted in March for 10 days and it was incredible!  April (who was the Suite Experience manager on our cruise) was wonderful and took great care of us....she booked our specialty dinners, checked in with us to see if we were going to be using the reserved theater seating.  If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks Jill! I watched a video tour of the suite done by a travel agent and they mentioned the suite comes with priority embark in ports (as in skip the potentially long line of people returning to the ship from tours) and ordering from the sanctuary menu to your cabin. Their video was the only time I've seen such perks mentioned. Was that included in your experience?

To qualify, we were straight into a tender from the ship but queued to get back on.

Also, just because you’re in a Sky Suite, there’s no preferential service in bars etc. you get served when the team get to you

Thanks! Yeah I figured that was too good to be true. Especially since when I reached out to them with the same question, their sole response was "Call us to book now." Looking forward to being back on a Princess ship regardless.

Our party of 4 stayed in S309 last week on the Scandinavia cruise and the majority of the information given is absolutely correct. In addition to what has been mentioned, our mini bars were restocked daily with our choice of beverages both beer and soft drinks. We were all also given a coffee package for use at International Cafe. The suite comes with free access to the Concierge Lounge where every evening drinks and canapés are complimentary.

We were contacted about 5 weeks out by the pre cruise concierge service as already mentioned and special events were taken care of onboard which was lovely. Our Suite Experience Manager was superb taking care of us from the moment we dropped our car at CPS Parking all the way through to escorting us and our luggage with his team from the ship back to our car upon disembarking the ship.

We ate in the Estrella dining room club class on 3 occasions and on 3 nights ate at Crown Grill, Sabbatini’s and on our balcony for the balcony dinner experience, all of which were excellent.
We also had a full afternoon tea served on the balcony which was delicious and why there was no evening meal required that day😀

The whole experience was a once in a lifetime celebration for us of many major milestones and the suite is simply stunning and so comfortable and the balcony is a joy on sunny days to lounge around upon high quality furniture including a large clam shell sofa. At the rear of the suite, there is a coded door giving access to little used hot tubs and a pool on deck 17.

If your friends can afford the upgrade, then I would take it as the experience is unlike no other on Princess.

Thank you so much for this information, Elwatzero III our friends did upgrade and then the other one became available and we did too! We have spoken to the pre-cruise concierge and he was great. But he hasn’t given me contact details for the SEM yet. When will we get those? Do you remember?
very excited. 😃

Thanks to those who posted your sky suite impressions and experiences  - it is very helpful for planning.

How was the MUTS sound system when on the outside balcony of the Sky Suite?   Personally for me the sound system is very loud and I never spend any time on the Sun or Lido deck by the pools but obviously lots of people don't seem to mind.   What is your experience with the sound systems when on the Sky Suite balcony?  Is it just as loud as the Sun or Lido deck?

One of the primary reasons I would consider booking this suite was to spend time on the cabin balcony talking with friends and I don't want our conversions to be drowned out by the sound system.  I also prefer the connection to the sea when on the cabin balcony as opposed to amplified entertainment.

Thoughts / Comments?

Thanks in Advance,
Rick

The sound from MUTS was not a problem at all, in fact, the Entertainment Director specifically asked us if the new movies and events were an issue for us in the suite.

We advised that the DJ on sail away was too loud as we could hear him in the suite for about 2 hours and they thanked us and said it would be sorted.

At the rear of the balcony where there are loungers and the clamshell we were able to have conversations without any noticeable noise from the front of the ship and even when we had our balcony dinner and afternoon tea at the front of the balcony, we were able to converse at normal levels without MUTS being any sort of a problem.

I was able to take in the ocean without ever feeling that it was a noisy environment and was never distracted apart from sail away, which as I say, was sorted.

Glad to hear about the MUTS. We were a bit worried about this. Also valuable info re when you get the SEM contact details. We are just over 5 weeks before we sail, so will hopefully hear from the Shoreside Concierge soon.

Fantastic videos to see. Thank you for posting. I know the Enchanted Suites have a different layout, but still good to see. Was your Ultimate Balcony Dinner whilst you were still in Port?  Thinking of scheduling ours for when we sail out of Flam; which is very scenic or before we sail away from Andalsnes, as we don’t leave there until 8.00 pm. Also think it might be too chilly at our Iceland Ports. I guess we need to look at the weather forecast, before we book. One other question for you - can you remember whether the fridges were cold?

We had just left Skagen in Denmark when we had our balcony dinner and later moved into the suite for dessert as it became chilly. The team were slick in moving us in and it was still wonderful as you’d expect.

The fridges are standard Princess fridges and the contents were cold after a few hours, but you do get an ice bucket every day that can be utilised for quick chilling.

An early morning walk around S309 balcony at Kristiansand showing layout and all furniture that the suite stewards look after throughout the stay

All of the furniture had plush cushions on them each day, placed by the suite team and was extremely comfortable 😀

I know the old saying if you have to ask then you can’t afford it but can someone please share the approximate cost of a Sky Suite?

I think it depends on how many days you will be sailing or if the area of the world you want to visit is in demand.  I did a mock booking for a ten day and the price was $27,000
