Can you book a Celebrity Cruise at Next Cruise on Royal?

We want to book a Celebrity cruise and will be on Mariner in a couple of weeks and wondered if we could just book it at the Next Cruise desk while we’re onboard? Has anyone done that?

Yes, we've done that in the past when on RCI cruises although it was quite a while back.

Yes and vice versa.  

 

One difference is that Royal lets you book something for friends and family while on board a Royal ship.  Celebrity only lets you book for yourself on board a Celebrity ship.

Yes. Just booked the Reflection while on the Odyssey.

We also booked a Celebrity cruise on the Anthem.

No problem at all, a few years ago we booked a Constellation cruise while on the Allure.

We booked for friends and family members twice.  Just needed their info and had to pay the $200 for each couple.  Maybe they changed that over the last couple of years

We booked a 5 day Summit cruise.  We still paid the normal $200 deposit, but we did receive a $100 OBC. 🙂  We had a FCC we needed to use.

Yes you can.  We will be sailing on Silhouette in a couple of weeks which was booked while we were onboard Seranade of the Seas pre-covid.  Got a great price and a couple of hundred bucks OBC

We have done it both ways, booked celebrity on Royal and Royal on Celebrity.  You can book for friends and family on both cruise lines. You get the booking onboard perks that the cruise line you are booking offers. (i.e. if you are booking Celebrity on Royal, you will get Celebrity's onboard booking bonus). I usually make sure that I know what the current offer is before going on the a cruise, just incase I decide to book something.
