As far as I know all tables including craps are 5$ minimum. I usually play quarters. For blackjack if you do 25$ minimum they may open a table that pays 3/2.

They deal from a shoe and hand shuffle.

IIRC, they jump from $5 to $25.  Not even sure if they offer a $10 min table.  The $5 table at least doesn't pay 3/2 anymore.  It's 6/5, right?

This from my husband and we have never been on a Royal class ship so I don’t know if it would be different:

1. They use both continuous shuffle and a shoe depending on the table.

2. For the shoe, the dealer hand shuffles and puts it in the shoe. If a continuous shuffle the dealer just puts it in the machine unless it’s a new deck. Then the new decks are shuffled and put in the machine.

3. Not sure what you are asking for the amounts. Some tables have a $6 minimum. The high roller blackjack table has a minimum bet of $25. The max bet he didn’t know because it way more than he would ever bet but he said it’s likely $2,500.

Those are the general rules, but might they not have contests with a buy in and more relaxed rules?

They usually hold a BJ tournament once per voyage (or approx once per week).  You pay $20 to buy in and play seven hands, attempting to win as much money as possible with play chips.  This is the qualifying round.  You can "invest" as many times as you want in order to have enough qualifying winnings.  There is a cut-off time.

At that point, the top seven qualifiers play in a final round.  Everyone gets a t-shirt or cap.  Without getting into the details of who gets which seats, etc, the final round is also a deal of seven hands.  The winner gets $500.  It is not based on the amount collected from qualifiers like some other ships have done in the past (and IDK if they do or don't do it anymore - for example, X).  I have seen it down to two guys left and they agree to split the $500.  Depends.

PS - They may not be running BJ tournaments at this time "due to Covid", even though the casino is otherwise open.

ETA:  @Ragtime Cowboy Joe, I forgot to add that during the tournament they pay BJ 2:1 IIRC.  Also, things get kind of loose as hands run towards 7th, as players may be desperate and split 10's, for example, in effort to accumulate more cash.

I would also be interested on the limits on the craps tables. Thx

Every time I played the minimum was $5. They have $100 chips and I have seen them played. Most of the higher betters play with $25 chips and play multiple chips. I don't know if there is a maximum bet, but assume there is.
