i like the idea of blt. even if they sat a while wouldnt be too bad. we need a thread of just butler snacks . i'm leaving sunday and could use a list

We came back to the room an hour or so before our dinner reservation to BLTs and husband said "you're not going to eat those so close to dinner are you?" and I said "heck yes!" Then he tried a bite and I had to fight to get any more! There's something about a BLT that is just very satisfying.

Mind sharing your bid? From what cabin to?  Big congrats on bid accepted.

Thank you! We are so excited! We went from a balcony (OB-BB) to a haven spa suite (H9). Our winning bid was 1,100 a person. While strange to have a tub in your bedroom we are beyond exited to try it out 😃

@magoo1980My pleasure.  So excited for you.  I am on that same Cruise on December 4, 2022.  My wife is in the Finals of the "Casino at See" slot tournament which is that sailing.  Please do a review on this trip.  I can't wait to read it.

Cruise Well.

Thank you, Gary!! We did this same cruise in December 2019 as my husband was in the poker tournament. Glad to see another gambling spouse in the group 😂😂😂 don’t get me wrong I do love a good slot or blackjack table myself

Fasting today.  I gotta get some self control :). Gf n i typically split but we've not been doing best at that.

I've never had such expensive delicious gorgeous food available in such quantity.

Gf wants to eat main dining room tonight.  Portions seem smaller in mdr.  & We've tried mostly everything on Haven menu.   Soooo delicious!

Sea day Tomorrow & we're at Cagney's & Elements show.  & then back to real life 🙂 well we did air bnb a sailboat to sleep on in Miami then RL.

Edit: oh wait I've got a 4 day carnival cruise March 10th.  Where I'll be rowing the boat sans gf.

Just an FYI, I asked for some spicy corn nuts, no chocolate covered strawberries, extra coffee pods, feather/down pillows, and a white wine instead of sparkling.  Not a big deal, I was on the fence about asking beforehand earlier today?

After exercise, Maybe tomorrow fit in some mini BLTs

We don't get the beverage package because we don't drink alcohol.  Any way we can get comped cappuccinos?

Espresso + cream + ice = cappuccino? 🙂 gf said that's iced coffee.  Dunno

This made me smile, we just returned from b2b 2/12 (upgraded to Haven) and 2/19 (balcony) and the Concierges Efren and Lyster were great to us. They continued to send wine, cheese and treats even when in balcony and even offered to seat us in Haven theater seats. They also called our room several times to see if we needed anything and printed our boarding passes. They said once we stayed in Haven, we were considered family! And to top things off, he emailed us at home last night to make sure we made it home! Love the Haven staff! Here is Efren in the new Bulls hat we gave him (in addition to tipping 😝).

That's awesome! 🙂 he just escorted us up the elevator from coming back from Cozumel.  We haven't interacted with him that much.  He did a really nice job setting up gf's bday food.  & has been putting in good effort.

I left note to room steward about wanting some dental floss.  We had run out.  Efren called maybe that night to inquire how we were.  Maybe he is right person.  Dunno.  Definitely give tip but definitely not as good as bulls hat! 🙂

We grabbed some dental floss at Mega store on our walk.  Was more curious if it would show up :).

Gave us table by window by engine.  Love those.

Cheated on my fast & on our long walk today! Just a little.

After getting our upgrade to Haven, I just had to make these shirts! Crafting the night before vacation is one way to exhaust oneself. For anyone on the 3/6 Breakaway, keep an eye out for these shirts 😀

Nooooo!

Where do you past Haven cruisers typically hide to have best chance of sneaking on to the next cruise? 🙂

Some advice, pack early, be smart with your carry on, and it gives you the rest of your day not to have to worry about that.  My wife and I tend to try to take in this last day to its fullest.  Some times, just some times we might start our Adult Beverages a bit to early.  Learn from our mistakes, LOL.

Cruise Well.

Thanks Gary.  We're definitely procrastinators!

My only regret on this cruise if you want to call it that is we didn't socialize too much.  In hottub  Talked to airbnb owners just getting started.  They started their 1st airbnb in Puerto Rico.  & a travel agent at our cruise critic meet & greet.

Lots of cool interesting people.  Seems like smokers & drinkers sometimes do really well socializing.

Maybe two regrets.  & roatan missed that port & going snorkeling at west Beach.  Ate wayyy too much at bday party night before.

Normally I'm a procrastinator, but day-before-disembarkation I'm the same. I want to get the emotional pain of packing out of the way so I can have the rest of the day worry free. My partner Rich never does that and is always a miserable b@st@rd at the end of the night packing last minute before bed. I have to refrain from saying "I told you so" every cruise.

Just returned from our Doc Ina Box (American Family Care) where we got our virus test done.  Total time from our front door and back again was less than an hour.  Spent may 40 minutes at the test site.  We had printed results in hand when we left.  All four of us tested negative.  So we're good to go.  Leaving tomorrow AM for NOLA.
