Q & A for those cruising Princess June 16, 19, 23 & 26 out of Brisbane

Sorry if this has been asked. We are on a B2B in August. The cruises have been linked so only show in the Medallion App as one cruise. We have been able to check in, Group A and green lane for the 3 day cruise.

There is no option to do anything for the 2nd cruise -12 night

For those doing B2B's did you have to do anything else?

Ā

Thanks

Tanya

No. We are currently on 4 x b2b. Has only shown as one cruise all time in app but def four booking numbers and we def getting the benefits of four cruises. Our first cruise on 16th showed green lane and the rest said incomplete in the personalised. And yellow in the app. However it was all good. We did the first swap on .no need to pack up if you are in same cabin. We had to change for this second one, but just had to throw loose stuff, drawer things in a case and leave all the hanging stuff, they moved the lot. There is no need to leave the ship, all facilities are available to you.no rechecking in and you use the same medallion. They obviously reprogrammed to new cabin. Also info on site tells you you have to settle onboard account at end each cruise, but they just rolled it over, so no probs at all.

Thank you so much. We are in the same cabin, so should be easy

Enjoy the rest of your cruises

Hi, so in view of the ship being cash free, does anyone know whether cash is still being accepted over the tables in the casino or is this being booked to the stateroom. Ā Just trying to figure out how much A$ to take, thanks

No cash in casino. You will need a casino account, once you are on board.

Ā

Only place you might need cash is at ports, then you can use EFT or CC.

Re meet up on 27th June.

just finished researching. I didnā€™t ask but Iā€™m sure sanctuary would be a no go. Itā€™s full of loungers width of ship so unless everyone hires a place there etc.

next way lotus pool area. Roof is closed today but itā€™s so high up it could almost be outside. I will attach pics at end.

next was lido 9.30 and almost empty so still seems best option.

Mandy I added crooners at same time just in case weather too cold for qlders šŸ„°

How about the Wheelhouse Bar - itā€™s a great place to meet and during the day can be very quiet?Ā

The Wheelhouse Bar could be good. I am dubious about the Lido Bar because I think it is right above where the sailaway party would be held.

No. That is the FB get-together and we don't want to clash. I am trying to organise something at the time of sailaway.

Wheelhouse now 11am. Bar not open but everyone can order anywhere. Itā€™s cool temp. No crowds at all. Better than crooners which is half full.

Maybe the Wheelhouse is the best. It would be quiet at sail-away. I will post on the thread for the 26th June cruise and see what everyone thinks. I wonder if we should set a time of 3.45. Hopefully people will have un-packed and if they want to go up top for sailaway they still can. In the last couple of cruises the ship left at 4.30. What is your opinion please. Thanks very much for our help with this.

The bar isnā€™tĀ open currently so quieter so it may be busier at 3.45 but with sailaway that might leave it clearer. Itā€™s big and spacious so I think itā€™s best of all options.

there is no where to stand at sanctuaryĀ

Who on here was discussing the merits of maple syrup with the brioche French toast in sabatini breakfast! I heard someone order it today (it comes with it on menu). The person obviously didnā€™t read that, but the waiter asked if she wanted the real maple syrup or obviously the ā€œotherā€ one..which I couldnā€™t hear what it was referred too! So next time Iā€™ll be making sure if I didnā€™t have real last time I will next time.

thus morning I had the ā€œmueslixā€ which is a delicious muesli I found out about when we had room service breakfast before our excursion. Itā€™s full of all kinds of goodies, nuts, fruit and all the usual muesli stuff. Followed by a well done mushroom omelette. How am I going to go back to real life lol

Good news that they have real maple syrup in Sabatinis. I might just be tempted by the French toast in that case.Ā

Ā

The weather is looking a bit dodgy for the cruise although Sunday should be fine for sailaway.

If they have real maple syrup in sabatini it must be available elsewhere too if you canā€™t have breakfast there.

Ā

I thought the weather was looking reasonable??? So is it Queenslander dodgy style or Victorian dodgy style?

They may not make it available to the MDRs. I've certainly never seen it in the buffet. It may be one of those special things just for Sabatini guests.

Ā

About 50% chance of rain on Monday and 40% chance for Airlie Beach on Tuesday.

Agree the 'Spethial syrup only for Suite guests in Sabatinis. The plebs get the stuff in the 44 gallon drums from Costco, lol.

Speak for yourself. Some of us in those interior cabins would appreciate some smuggled real maple syrup. šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I'm not in an interior cabin and I don't believe I am entitled to real maple syrup.Ā  I don't think it included mini suits does it?Ā  I think they are a pretend suite ??šŸ˜†
