I usually book through my PCC who is on a well deserved Vacay right now so I'm dealing with others in the department. You can book online, the fare may show as "Private Sale" price and you will see the final price reduction after you enter all the info. Right now I've got a coutesy hold on a obstructed OV for $1224 (solo traveler so they are charging the supplement) List price would be $2259.

If you have a PVP cruise contact I would call that person. I have received such an offer and you do have to book a cruise by the deadline on the offer. ALSO, I would highly recommend you keep and bring that paper offer with you when you are sailing to take advantage of that offer as I had an issue will verification on one of my sailings and I'm glad I had proof.

I never book the come back and sail offers. I receive much better offers by email. I always use my PCC!

As someone above suggested, I went into our HAL account and did a dummy booking on some late 2022 and early 2023 Caribbean cruises.  Result was a number of free cabins ($200 actually listed) for 7 days in an Oceanview and some 10-11 day partial Panama Canal cruises.

Interesting part is that we have not received an email from HAL casino on these deals yet (usally we get the email prior to the website showing them).

I think they may program the prices before they send out a notice, you will probably get a notice later today.

Dave - i see the same thing; but, when i try to continue with a booking  i get a screen that says something to the effect of "oops, that page is not available".   Do you get the same result?

Yes = I think it because you have to book through the TA or casino.

OK I booked the Spanish Farewell on 11/05. I hope they don't send a free offer for this cruise before I sail. I got a real good airfare from flight Ease. OW from SFO to BCN for only $653 for Air Canada Premium Economy.

Now that you booked it come over to the roll call.  You will be shocked by the amount of activity.  Hope to see you there.

How usual is it for people booking on Casino offer got a complimentary upgrade or an upsell?

Not sure how usual it is but we have received a complimentary upgrade on a casino offer. We also have received paid upgrade offers. We have also called the upgrade phone number and gotten the price of upgrades without the offer. I think the number is 888-628-8107. Not sure how much Mariner status has to do with upgrades.

I have checked and not found any $200 deals under our sign-on. Of course we are one of those who never receive emails. For us the last $200 deals were in Mid-June. Nothing since. But thanks for the heads up.

We recently received an upsell offer, sailing the Westerdam in mid-

august. The upgrade was from an inside to a OV for $99pp, or to a verandah for $299pp. I would prefer a verandah, but $600 is a lot to spend for a balcony in a cooler climate.  I called and asked if there was any lower priced upgrades to verandah and was told no. Has anyone gotten a second offer that was less expensive prior to the cruise? Was told that we may not know assigned cabin until a day prior to cruise. The OV cabins are only on the lowest level. Think I might be better using the $600 for thermal spa passes or a good excursion.

I was a busy worker bee today with the new offers. I switched my 11/05 Spanish Farwell to the 11/05 Passage to America (better deal). Booked a new Mexico Rivera cruise on the K-dam in December (the wife coming with on that one)

So my next 3 HAL cruises are all $200 Casino offers and will but me on 3 different continents!

Happy Deal hunting,

Paul

I am new to Casino offer and got an email just like you guys. Got some questions...... 1.If I don't book any of these cruise will casino offer stop? 2. If I book one or more of these cruises and not playing at Casino, will casino offer stop as well? 3. Also do we know how much $$$ we have to spend for HAL to send out casino offer?

Thanks!
