AOS- how formal is formal night for 5 night Bermuda cruise?

Recommended Posts

Adventure of the Seas this Thursday July 21st - 5 night Bermuda. I understand there is a formal night. Does hubby need a jacket and or tie? He wanted to just wear a long sleeved button down shirt with slacks. Is this ok?
I’ll wear a dress, not super dressy though. Thanks All. Haven’t cruised in years. 😉

Shorts and a polo shirt with sneakers is perfectly acceptable.

Definitely leave the jacket, tie and long sleave shirt home. You are on vacation. If you want to dress up, then wear jeans or dockers instead of shorts.

How formal?  Not very.  You'll be fine but I'd make that dress a solid, dark colored one vs. a floral print.  We don't even do the formal nights anymore and just go to the buffet on formal nights.  We've played dress-up enough. 😉

And why would there be a problem with a floral print???

Why? What’s the difference if my dress is dark vs one with some color??
