Check In Issues

I was supposed to check in today for my 2 Sept Solstice Cruise.  I got up super early to make sure I got an early boarding time and the app shows check in closed.  What does that mean?  Is there a problem with my reservation?  Did the upgrade fairy pay me a visit and I check in at the port?

Suspect it’s a glitch. I booked in at the end of last month but check in is still open. Our check in actually opened the day after the day shown in the app ( we are in the UK). 
Might be worth clearing your cache, and deleting and reinstalling it. That has worked for me in the past when the app has gone rogue.

Looks like you got up early a day early.  You would have to count neither today nor the embark day to come up with 45, typically duration calculations count one or the other.

The app for the last several weeks said, "Check in opens 18 July"

My check in had a day earlier than others on my cruise, turned out mine was wrong it actually opened up the date it was showing others. I don't think it opened at midnight for us either because I remember doing the check in after dinner

No glitch. Checkin opens APPROXIMATELY 45 days before your cruise.  It sometimes is 44.  Other times later in day 45.  Relax.

Your not getting the email is your clue that Celebrity has not opened checkin.

Cruises also usually do not open on Sunday at whatever location does that task.

They open at 45 days prior to cruise.    By my calculations you are at 46 days today.

 

If you check the App it has the exact date.    I have also experienced a delay in obening by a day or two but just checked in for the 3rd leg of a B3B and all opened exactly 45 days.

 

AT least on our cruise they open at 12:01 AM local time of where the cruise departs.   In California I could grab a time at 9:01PM the night before for a Florida cruise.

LOL -- I googled how many days until September 2 and it returned 46.   If want the earliest try tonight at 1 minute after Midnight.  

 

On my 3 check-ins the earliest time remained available for 3-4 days.
