Sorry folks -- you could have made this concoction at home but the "official" Velveeta "Veltini" martini kit for $49.95 is SOLD OUT.

OFFICIAL VELTINI KIT

There's always the DIY alternative:

  1. Remove the cheese powder packet from a macaroni and cheese box.
  2. Add 3 1/2 ounces of vodka, 1/2 ounces of vermouth, and the cheese powder to a cocktail shaker. Go ahead and give it a swirl until the cheese dissolves.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled and consistently yellow in color. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with olives and cheese cubes.
  4. ENJOY???

The consistency of the responses so far has me worried. I am by nature a contrarian, I go against the thinking of the majority in most things. So being in the majority on this one is quite unsettling. Could it be that this Velveeta Martini is actually the taste treat of the century? The Tom Brady of cocktails? The New York Yankees of Martinis?🤔

Even though I hate to be in the majority, the more I think about it, and get nauseous thinking about it, this abomination is indeed the worst idea ever! It's the Washington Nationals of Martinis. The Johnny Manziel of cocktails! And the Carnival Cruise Line of taste! 😇

Most bars serve these. I have to ask not to have cheese in my martini.

Blue cheese stuffed inside an olive is in no way a comparison to velveeta-infused vodka and drips of liquid 'cheese' in the glass.  🙂

Every day we stray further from God's light.

Are you saying God didn't invent Velveeta? Was it the other guy?😈

Sorry, can't be sexist. Was it the other gal? 😈

That sounds bad. Very bad. I can’t imagine.

I love cheese and adore martinis.

But a cheese martini, yuk. Might as well just pulverize some Kraft Mac & cheese & add booze.

Hmmm? A Mac & Cheese Martini. 🤔

Now that's something I can sink my teeth into....
