It probably varies by country.  Celebrity posted changes today effective 8/8 and testing for US departures is 3 days.

Yep.  I just saw that. So now three days before.  So if we depart on a Sunday, we can take on Thursday.

Peoples, this is for Royal only, and it is only for cruises 6 days and under.  Over 6, still have to test two days before on celebrity as well.   Celebrity has not changed anything as of yet.

One can see why there is so much confusion!  Celebrity certainly has changed the test requirements from two days before the cruise to three days (on sailings from the US that do not visit Canada or Bermuda.)

Celebrity has announced they are doing exactly what RCL is doing at this time. No testing for vaccinated guests on sailings less than 6 days. Testing 3 days prior now for both Celebrity and RCL.

The only difference between RCL and Celebrity right now is that Celebrity did not say they would have another big announcement on August 14th.

Celebrity much better than RC.  Too many little brats running around lol. Celebrity should do a Virgin and go adults only.

It's been 2 days for a long time. But....

Celebrity has not announced these changes yet.

Celebrity guidelines do not always match Royal Caribbean.

Port guidelines still supersede anything else.

And, Vancouver is still in Canada.  I swear some Americans don't understand that judging by the comments on that RC thread... 😆

But what if one lives in Washington state?

Haha.   We live in Vancouver, Washington.    I don't know how many people we've talked to on cruises who ask where we're from.   We say Vancouver, Washington.  Then they tell us how they were in Vancouver on a cruise.   They're talking about Vancouver BC.   This has happened numerous times to us.  So we just started saying we live in Portland Oregon, right across the river.   Much easier 😉
